CM Ashok Gehlot started reading the budget speech in the assembly after opposition uproar. CM Ashok Gehlot has made many big announcements in his budget speech. He said that 76000 families of Ujjwala Yojana would get Rs.500 for the cylinder. Along with this, he said that 100 units of electricity will be given free of cost to the domestic consumers. 500 crore welfare fund will be constituted. Making a big announcement in the last budget of his third term in the Rajasthan Assembly, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has increased the insurance amount in the Chiranjeevi scheme from Rs 10 lakh to Rs 25 lakh. At the same time, EWS families will be brought under the purview of this scheme. At the same time, Gehlot announced that 76 lakh families got LPG cylinders under the Ujjwala scheme of the central government, but those 76 lakh families who could not buy again, will be given LPG cylinders for Rs 500 in the coming year. While making a big announcement regarding electricity, the CM said that our government will give 100 units of free electricity to all domestic consumers from next year. On the other hand, the families associated with the Mahatma Gandhi Guarantee Scheme will get one thousand rupees each under the Mahatma Gandhi Minimum Pension Scheme.
Earlier, before Gehlot's budget speech, there was a lot of ruckus in the assembly and the proceedings of the house were adjourned twice. In fact, while starting the budget speech, Gehlot read the old budget speech, after which he kept reading the old budget for about 6 minutes. At the same time, the opposition created a huge ruckus as soon as the speech started. The opposition alleged that the government leaked the budget and the Chief Minister read the old lines of the budget. At the same time, CM Gehlot and Speaker CP Joshi apologized in the House on the whole incident. It is being told that such an incident happened for the first time in the history of Rajasthan Legislative Assembly.
