Rahul Vaidya Recalls An Emotional Conversation With Sidharth Shukla’s Mom
In a video, Rahul Vaidya talks about an emotional conversation he had with Sidharth Shukla’s mother post his demise.

Television actor Sidharth Shukla passed away on September 2 at the age of 40. The TV and film industry is shaken, and many celebs attended the actor's last rites in Mumbai. Rahul Vaidya, who also went to pay his respects to the late actor, talked about Sid's mother, Ritu and his rumoured girlfriend, Shehnaaz Gill.
On his YouTube channel, Rahul Vaidya said, "There was a reason why Sidharth was such a rock, it's because aunty is so strong as a human being. Losing a young son is something that you and I can probably never understand. Aunty said this herself."
"She said that she'd heard about people losing their children, but never thought it would happen to her. She said, ‘Who will I live for now? It’s all over.' Hearing that, we broke down. But we had to keep a strong face. So we gave her strength," added the singer.
The former Bigg Boss 14 contestant said that he hopes God gives strength to Sidharth's mother, sisters and the family, especially Shehnaaz. "Because when I went to see them the other day, Shehnaaz was in no state to talk. Understandably, she was completely gone," added Rahul Vaidya.
Yesterday, the late actor's family shared their first statement and requested people to give them the privacy to grieve. The statement reads, "Heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has been a part of Sidharth's journey and showered him with unconditional love. It definitely doesn't end here as he now resides in our hearts forever. Sidharth valued his privacy, hence we request you to allow our family the privacy to grieve."
