Rahul Gandhi's Bharat Jodo Yatra will enter Madhya Pradesh, Priyanka will join today
Congress communication in-charge Jairam Ramesh said Burhanpur "has a long history and had become an important place during the Mughal rule, especially during the reign of Shah Jahan". The yatra has so far passed through Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Maharashtra.
Bharat Jodo Yatra of Congress under the leadership of Rahul Gandhi entered Madhya Pradesh from Bodarli village situated on the border of Maharashtra. The yatra flag was handed over by Maharashtra Congress chief Nana Patole to his Madhya Pradesh counterpart Kamal Nath in the presence of Rahul Gandhi.
On this occasion, Leader of Opposition in Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly Govind Singh was also seen holding the flag. Let us inform that the yatra started from the Bodarli bus stand of St. Xavier's International School, Zainabad Phata in Burhanpur district and will pass through seven districts of Madhya Pradesh in the next 11 days.
