Putin says US-Russia bilateral relationship has sunk to its ‘lowest point’ ahead of meeting with Biden
In wake of a slew of high-profile killings, including those of Kremlin opponent Boris Nemtsov, Biden has stated that he has no misconceptions about Putin and has labelled him a "killer".

In an interview with NBC News prior to his meeting with US President Joe Biden next week, Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that US-Russia ties are at their lowest point in recent years.
He remarked while speaking on US-Russia relations, "We have a bilateral relationship that has deteriorated to its lowest point in recent years."
Putin expressed his respect for former President Trump, calling him a "extraordinary" and "talented" man, while referring to Biden as a career politician devoid of such qualities.
The Russian President had publicly declared that he backed Trump in the 2016 election, who had expressed respect for Putin and, notably, appeared to believe his denials of election meddling during their first summit.
The current US President Joe Biden intends to discuss a number of US complaints, including allegations of Russian election meddling and hacking in his meeting with Putin on Wednesday in Geneva, which will mark the end of the incoming president's first foreign tour.
In wake of a slew of high-profile killings, including those of Kremlin opponent Boris Nemtsov, Biden has stated that he has no misconceptions about Putin and has labelled him a "killer".
When asked about Biden labelling him a killer in a March interview, Putin responded he has heard hundreds of similar allegations. He had remarked, "This is not something I worry about."
The Russian president denied claims levelled against his administration on a variety of problems, including purported ransomware assaults on the United States, aggression against Ukraine, the imprisonment of activists, and dubious foreign policy in the Middle East.
In the backdrop of recent ransomware attacks blamed on Russia, Putin categorically denied any knowledge of the hackings and stated that he will strive to build a cyberspace accord with Biden.
Joe Biden, for one, has stated that the US wants to develop a "stable and predictable relationship" with Russia. But, if the Russian government continues to participate in destabilizing actions, America will not hesitate to respond.
