Pushpa’s heartfelt reunion with her son Ashwin steals the light at her grand birthday celebration in Sony SAB's Pushpa Impossible
Mumbai: Sony SAB’s ‘Pushpa Impossible' showcases Pushpa (Karuna Pandey) as a determined character, tackling life's challenges with optimism and a solution-oriented approach. In recent episodes, Ashwin (Naveen Pandita) went through a gradual transformation, returning to his kind self by reconciling with Chirag (Darshan Gurjar) and selflessly saving the life of a cab driver when he suffered from a heart attack.
In the upcoming episodes, viewers are in for an exciting celebration as Pushpa's birthday is just around the corner. The atmosphere will be lively with everyone celebrating and dancing. The celebration takes a heartfelt turn as Pushpa and Ashwin, who have faced several challenges in their relationship recently, reconcile. Pushpa, who had previously forbidden Ashwin from calling her 'maa,' finally lets him, leading to a touching reunion. As Pushpa's birthday bash unfolds with unexpected twists, viewers will surely be glued to the screen, enjoying every surprising moment.
Karuna Pandey, who essays the role of Pushpa, said, “Pushpa’s character isn’t the typical portrayal of a self-sacrificing woman who lets her kids’ immoral mistakes go unnoticed. When Ashwin got involved in the tender scam, Pushpa refused to accept that her son could do such a thing and hence, asked him not to address her as his mother. However, she starts noticing him changing and trying to be better, and when he mistakenly calls her 'maa', her heart melts and she breaks down. While shooting the scene, there was a rollercoaster of emotions, and I’m excited for viewers to witness this much-awaited reunion.”
Naveen Pandita, who essays the role of Ashwin, said, “Ashwin’s character has definitely had his share of ups and downs and has recently gone through a major transformation. Once almost a villain, life's setbacks made him reflect and improve. On the brink of losing his wife, he regrets losing his bond with his mother too. As Pushpa finally forgives him and allows him to call her ‘maa’ again, it's a turning point for him. The upcoming storyline will bring more emotional moments for Ashwin, but now he’ll have his mother by his side in those tough moments.”
