Punjab Cabinet Meeting: Punjab cabinet gave Diwali gift to the employees

The Bhagwant Mann government of Punjab has given the gift of Diwali to the employees. The government has decided to increase the DA of the employees by 6 percent. The Punjab cabinet has given its approval. The decision to restore old pension has also been taken in the cabinet. Apart from this, it has also been decided to open CM windows in all the districts. The Punjab cabinet has also decided to abolish the posts of Senior Vice President and Vice President of Punjab Mandi Board.

CM Bhagwant Mann said that he had said that he was reviewing the pension system. Now the Punjab government has decided that the Old Pension Scheme will be implemented in the state. It has been decided in principle in the cabinet. This will benefit lakhs of employees. The CM said that he has given this Diwali gift to the employees.

In the cabinet meeting chaired by CM Bhagwant Mann, the decision to exempt vehicles carrying religious texts from tax has been approved. Approval has also been given for the new location of Mohali Medical College. Apart from this, changes have also been approved in the recruitment rules to give priority to the youth of Punjab in jobs.
