Punjab Cabinet Meeting : Bhagwant Mann government will recruit more than 26 thousand posts

The meeting of the Punjab cabinet was held today under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann. Five important decisions have been taken in this. There will be recruitment on 26454 posts in the state. Along with this, the declaration of one MLA, one pension was approved.

Along with this, a proposal may come in the meeting to file the income tax of the MLAs and a decision can be taken to fill the income tax of the MLAs themselves. Along with this, the cabinet's approval has been given on the earlier announcement of giving only one pension to former MLAs.

To reduce the financial burden on the state, the Aam Aadmi Party government had already announced a single pension scheme for former MLAs. Now this announcement has been implemented in the cabinet meeting today. Many important decisions regarding financial matters have been taken in the cabinet meeting to be chaired by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann. The main reason for this is that the government is constantly taking loans to meet its expenditure.

In the cabinet meeting, along with the proposal to fill the income tax of the MLAs on behalf of the legislators themselves, the agenda of taking the project of the central scheme on electricity reform can also be presented. According to sources, the Punjab government may bring an ordinance to give only one pension to the MLAs because, the Bhagwant Mann government will have to get this bill passed in the budget session.
