Some protesters raised slogans of 'Jai Shri Ram' during the prayers amid heavy police force deployment. There was also an argument with the police regarding the prayers of people belonging to right-wing organizations. In the video that surfaced after the incident, it can be seen that the people who are creating a ruckus are telling the police that even if they are arrested, they will not back down from the protest.
Dinesh Bharti, the leader of Bharat Mata Vahini organization, who led the protest against Namaz several times in Gurugram, was still seen with the protesting people, later he was taken into custody by the police. Today's incident has happened at a time when a complaint of provocative statements has been filed against the leaders of 3 right-wing organizations a few days back. Jamaat-e-Ulema-e Hind had complained to these leaders to the Gurugram Police.
