Every way is being explored. The Prime Minister is taking the report. The Chief Minister is surveying by helicopter. All construction works have been stopped.
The Prime Minister's Office is also in active mode regarding the Joshimath crisis. PMO has called a high level meeting regarding Joshimath. Principal Secretary to PM Dr PK Mishra will hold a high-level review at the PMO this afternoon with the Cabinet Secretary, senior officials of the Government of India and members of the National Disaster Management Authority. During this, the District Magistrate of Joshimath will also be present in the meeting through video conferencing. Senior officers of the Government of Uttarakhand will also participate through video conferencing.

At the same time, a monk has filed a petition in the Supreme Court demanding that the Joshimath crisis be declared a national disaster. Filed by Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati, the petition states that the incident has happened due to large-scale industrialization and requests immediate financial assistance and compensation to the people of Uttarakhand. "There is no need for any development at the cost of human life and their ecosystem and if anything is happening, it is the duty of the state and central government to stop it immediately," the petition said.
