Prime Minister Narendra Modi : PM Modi will inaugurate 'Aadi Mahotsav' today
The PMO said that since 2023 is being celebrated as the International Year of Millets, along with the usual attractions like handicrafts, handlooms, pottery, jewelery etc., the festival will showcase "Shri Anna" grown by the tribal community Special attention will be paid.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the National Tribal Festival “Aadi Mahotsav” at Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium in Delhi on Thursday. It was informed from the Prime Minister's Office that in an effort to showcase tribal culture on a national platform, Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate the mega National Tribal Festival 'Aadi Mahotsav' on February 16 at 10:30 am at Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium in Delhi.
The PMO said that Prime Minister Modi has been at the forefront of taking steps for the welfare of the tribal population of the country and he also gives due respect to their contribution in the development of the country. Celebrating the spirit of tribal culture, crafts, cuisine, commerce and traditional arts, Aadi Mahotsav is an annual initiative of Tribal Cooperative Marketing Development Federation of India Limited (TRIFED) under the Ministry of Tribal Affairs. This year it is being organized from 16 to 27 February at Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium in Delhi.
According to the PMO, the rich and diverse heritage of tribes from across the country will be displayed in over 200 stalls at the venue. Around 1000 tribal artisans will participate in the festival.
