Prime Minister Modi will participate in the Constitution Day celebrations in the Supreme Court

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend the Constitution Day celebrations organized at the Supreme Court on Saturday. The Prime Minister's Office said in a statement released on Friday that he would also launch several initiatives under the e-court project on the occasion. Let us tell you that on 26 November 1949, the Constituent Assembly had adopted the Constitution of India, on the occasion of which Constitution Day is celebrated on 26 November. The celebration of Constitution Day started in 2015. It was announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 11 October 2015 while laying the foundation stone of the Bhim Rao Ambedkar Memorial in Mumbai.

The PMO said in its statement that the new things that Prime Minister Modi will start under the e-courts project include 'Virtual Justice Clock', 'Justice Mobile App 2.0', Digital Court and 'S3WaaS'. Explain that the e-courts project is based on the concept of an efficient and time-bound, litigant-centric, accessible, affordable, transparent and accountable judicial system. The PMO said the project seeks to provide services to litigants, lawyers and the judiciary through Information and Communication Technology (ICT).

According to the PMO, the 'Virtual Justice Clock' is an initiative to display important statistics of the justice delivery system at the court level, including the number of cases filed, disposed of and pending cases at the court level on a day, week, month basis. Detail is given. The statement said that this is an attempt to make the functioning of the courts accountable and transparent by sharing with the public the status of the cases disposed of by the courts. Common people can access the Virtual Justice Clock of any Court Establishment on the District Court website.

Digital Court is an initiative to make court records available to the judge in digital form with the objective of bringing about a change in the direction of paperless courts. The PMO said that S3WaaS Websites is a framework for creating and managing various websites for publishing specified information and services related to the district level judiciary. It is a cloud service developed for creating secure, scalable and accessible websites for government organizations.
