Prime Minister Modi : The people of the country are looking at the BJP with great faith and hope
Prime Minister Modi said that the hopeful eyes of the world are fixed on India and the trust of the people of India is on the BJP.
A three-day meeting of the national office bearers of the Bharatiya Janata Party is going on in Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan. On Friday, the second day of the meeting, Prime Minister Narendra Modi virtually addressed the party leaders.
Prime Minister Modi said in his address, 'The world is looking at India with great expectations today. Similarly, in India, the people have a special affection for the BJP. The people of the country are looking at the BJP with great confidence and with a lot of hope. We don't have to rest. Even today we are impatient, restless, eager because our basic goal is to take India to that height which was dreamed of by those who died for the country's independence. The Prime Minister further said, 'This hope and aspiration of the people of the country increases our responsibility a lot.'
The Prime Minister said, 'The journey that started from the Jana Sangh and flourished as the BJP, if we see this form of the party, its expansion, then there is pride, but the party which has spent itself in its creation. Today I bow to all the personalities. He further said, 'If we had to enjoy the power, then in a huge country like India, anyone can think that now you have got this much, sit now but we do not accept this path.'
The meeting of BJP national office bearers began on Thursday with a meeting of national general secretaries. Before the meeting, BJP President JP Nadda visited the exhibition based on the lives of Kushabhau Thackeray and Sunder Singh Bhandari. The meeting of national office bearers of BJP is going on in Jaipur from May 19 to 21 regarding the preparations for the upcoming assembly elections in different states of the country including Rajasthan.
