Priest Burnt Alive in Rajasthan: Karauli police arrested the main accused
Kailash, son of Kadu, who belongs to the Meena caste, is the main accused in this case. He is a resident of Bukana police station in Sapotra district Karauli. The police have also released the photo of the accused after his arrest.

Karauli Police Superintendent Mridul Kachhwa said that while taking prompt action in a case in which a priest was burnt alive in a land dispute case, the local police has arrested the main accused.
Kailash, son of Kadu, who belongs to the Meena caste, is the main accused in this case. He is a resident of Bukana police station in Sapotra district Karauli. The police have also released the photo of the accused after his arrest.
Priest Babu Lal Vaishnav was first attacked by at least six persons who later poured petrol on him and burnt him.
Vaishnav got the land in a gift as he was a local priest but the powerful people from the Meena tribe disputed it. In a statement to the police before his death, Vaishnav said that six people first attacked him and then poured petrol and lit the fire.
Police are looking for other accused.
