Preparation to deal with Corona, Mock Drill will be held in hospitals across the country on December 27
A high-level meeting was also held on 21 December under the chairmanship of the Union Health Minister to review the preparedness of the public health system for the status, surveillance, containment and management of COVID-19.

In the midst of increasing infection of Corona in China, the Government of India has stepped up preparations for the rescue. On 27th December, a mock drill will be conducted in hospitals across the country to check the COVID emergency preparedness. According to official sources, "On Tuesday, December 27, a mock drill will be conducted in hospitals across the country to test the emergency response and handling of COVID 19 cases, Union Health Minister Dr Mansukh Mandaviya will also participate in the mock drill."
In view of the spurt in the reported Covid cases in China and other countries, mock drills are being organized in the country to prevent Corona. The Ministry has also started taking active steps in this direction. On December 20, the Union Health Ministry advised states to increase genome sequencing. On Thursday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a high-level meeting regarding the situation of Corona virus in the country. In the meeting, PM Modi appealed to the people to wear masks as well as follow the Covid protocol. The PM had also talked about increasing genome sequencing and covid testing. He warned the people on negligence and advised strict vigilance. The PM had also said that Covid is not over yet.
