Prayagraj Accident: School bus overturns to save bike rider in Prayagraj, two students killed, 11 injured

The children of Smt. Kranti Devi Janata Vidyalaya located in Parmalpur, Jaunpur had left on Saturday morning for Mangarh Dham and Anand Bhawan in Pratapgarh on a school bus tour. The bus carrying school children reached near Bheski village of Handia on the Prayagraj-Varanasi road at around 10 am when in an attempt to save two bike-borne youths, the bus overturned uncontrollably. Due to the overturning of the bus at high speed, there was a hue and cry of the children, then the nearby villagers rushed to the spot. On the information of the incident, the police of Handia police station also reached the spot. The children trapped in the bus were pulled out.

Eleven injured children were taken to Devraj Hospital in Handia town. The injured bike rider was also admitted to the hospital after being hit by the bus. Police said that two school students have died after the bus overturned. His family members are reaching the hospital.
