Positivity rate reached 15% in Delhi, 2423 new cases of corona were reported in the Country

The Center had also warned that there is a festive season in the coming days, when there is a possibility of mass gatherings and people's travel from one state to another will also increase, keeping in mind that the state governments should take appropriate steps and the Ministry of Health.

Positivity rate reached 15% in Delhi, 2423 new cases of corona were reported in the Country

New cases of corona in the capital Delhi have once again raised concern. For the last few days, a steady increase in new cases of corona is being registered in Delhi. In the last 24 hours, a total of 2423 new cases of corona have come, while the rate of infection has increased to about 15 percent during this period. At the same time, two patients have also lost their lives in the last 24 hours due to corona. The special thing is that for the first time after February this year, Delhi is witnessing such an increase in the rate of spread of infection along with new cases.

On August 5, a total of 2419 new cases were reported in the capital, which is the highest in the last six months. Earlier on February 3, the maximum number of 2668 cases were registered. At the same time, in the last twenty-four hours, the corona infection rate in Delhi had gone up to 12.95 percent. Earlier on January 23, the rate of infection was recorded at 13.32 percent. If we talk about the number of active patients, then at present the total number of such patients in the capital was 6876 whereas in the last twenty-four hours, two people also lost their lives.

Talking about the new cases of corona in the country, 19,406 new cases were reported on Saturday, taking the number of active corona patients in the country to 1,34,793. At the same time, the recovery rate in the country at present was 98.50 percent, daily positivity rate was 4.96 percent and weekly positivity rate was 4.63 percent. According to the data, due to the recovery of 19,928 people in the last 24 hours, the number of people who beat Corona in the country had gone up to 4,34,65,552.

In view of the increasing figures of Corona in various states of the country including the capital Delhi, the central government has written a letter to seven states, warning about the upcoming festivals. The Union Health Secretary had written a letter to seven states saying that in the last one month, cases of corona cases are increasing in these states, which is a matter of concern.

The Center had also warned that there is a festive season in the coming days, when there is a possibility of mass gatherings and people's travel from one state to another will also increase, keeping in mind that the state governments should take appropriate steps and the Ministry of Health. 

Test, treat, track, monitor, vaccination needs to be accelerated. The cases of corona are increasing in Delhi, Kerala, Maharashtra, Odisha, Tamil Nadu, Telangana and Karnataka. These seven states were warned by the Ministry of Health by writing a letter expressing concern to them.
