Pooja Vastrakar hits 81 meter tall SIX against Australia

In the Women's World Cup being played in New Zealand, there was a match between India and Australia on Saturday. During the Indian innings in the match, Pooja Vastrakar hit the longest six of the tournament in the 5th ball of the 49th over. The six covered a distance of 81 metres. Earlier in the World Cup, India's opener Smriti Mandhana and South Africa's Chloe Tryon have hit 80 meters long six.

Pooja Vastrakar hits 81 meter tall SIX against Australia

In the Women's World Cup being played in New Zealand, there was a match between India and Australia on Saturday. During the Indian innings in the match, Pooja Vastrakar hit the longest six of the tournament in the 5th ball of the 49th over. The six covered a distance of 81 metres. Earlier in the World Cup, India's opener Smriti Mandhana and South Africa's Chloe Tryon have hit 80 meters long six. Mandhana hit a six against West Indies. After these three players comes the number of Nida Dar of Pakistan, who hit a six of 78 meters in the match against South Africa. At the same time, Mathews of West Indies hit a 77 meter long six against England.

In the match, India lost the wickets of wicketkeeper Richa Ghosh (8) and Sneh Rana (1) early on. After this, Harmanpreet Kaur and Pooja Vastrakar shared 64 runs in 47 balls for the 7th wicket. Pooja was dismissed on the last ball of the Indian innings after scoring 34 off 28 balls, while Harman scored an unbeaten 57 off 47 balls.

India now have four points from five matches with two wins and three losses. Team India has to play both the remaining matches in the World Cup against Bangladesh and South Africa. Team India will have to win both these matches. In this, the match against South Africa is going to be very important, because the African team has won all the four matches played so far and is in amazing form.
