In the meeting held on Wednesday, PM Modi emphasized the great opportunities available in futuristic sectors in India.

Foxconn is one of the world's largest electronics contract manufacturers the company helps to make a lot of Apple's products, like the iPhone.
In manufacturing operations, Foxconn has been an important partner for Apple, and their relationship is increasingly focused on India.
This year on the eve of the 75th Republic Day, Young Liu was conferred Padma Bhushan which was the third-highest civilian award, maintaining Taiwan’s position as India’s most trusted and reliable partner.
Last year in July, Young Liu visited India and met Prime Minister Narendra Modi when he attended the Semicon India conclave.
Foxconn is estimated to have a workforce of over 40,000 employees in India. The company's total investment in the country is estimated to be around $9-10 billion.
To expand its manufacturing capabilities, the company from Taiwan has made big investments in India having a focus on producing Apple products.
Now, the company is planning to expand the iPhone production facility by setting up a chip plant in an agreement of joint venture with HCL Group, an electric vehicle manufacturing unit, and an Apple Airpods plant.
