PM Modi's 'Mission Life' will be part of the school curriculum, children will be given tips for an eco-friendly lifestyle

Due to environmental challenges like climate change, when the whole world is in crisis, Prime Minister Narendra Modi's mission 'Life' (Lifestyle for Environment) means learning an environment-friendly lifestyle can prove to be a great boon for the new generation. Initiatives have started in this direction. PM's 'Mission Life' is being made a part of the entire school curriculum, which will be taught and taught to children in schools right from the basic level.

On the instructions of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, the Department of School Education has taken this important initiative to connect the new generation with the mission life of PM, when a new school curriculum is being prepared in the country under the new National Education Policy (NEP). In such a situation, work is going on to include Mission Life initiatives in schools at different levels.

The environment has also been given adequate space in the recently released new curriculum framework at the grassroots level for schools. During this, these important aspects have been given place, saving energy and water, reducing the use of single use plastic, emphasis on cleanliness, weather friendly food, waste management, measures needed for healthy lifestyle, The focus has been on topics like reducing e-waste. In the coming school curriculum, all these subjects will be read by the new generation in one form or the other.

Significantly, the PM had first put forth his views on Mission Life in the COP (Conference of Parties)-26 held in Glasgow in the year 2021, in which he took the initiative to connect the world with Mission Life. Along with this, emphasis was laid on making the new generation aware about it from now itself. It was also suggested to include it especially in schools. PM has recently released a plan related to mission life in the 75th year of independence in Kevadia, Gujarat, in which 75 suggestions have been given.
