PM Modi's appeal to Denmark, said - immediately ceasefire between Ukraine and Russia
On this occasion, PM Modi said, 'We hope that the talks on the India-EU Free Trade Agreement will end soon.'
On the second day of his Europe tour, Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Copenhagen, Denmark and met Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen. Delegation level talks have been held between the two countries on this visit where there were long talks on the positive efforts from both the countries.
On Monday, PM Modi talked about the Russia-Ukraine war in Germany, while even today he gave his views on this issue. "We called for an immediate ceasefire in Ukraine and a dialogue and strategy to resolve the problem," he said.
While talking about the relations between the two countries, he said, 'There are more than 200 Danish companies working in different sectors in India. These companies are benefiting from the ease of doing business in India and economic reforms.
Danish PM Mette Fredriksson said, 'Denmark and India are moving rapidly towards turning our Green Strategic Partnership into some concrete results. The Indian government has high ambitions for the green transition. I am proud that Danish Solutions plays a vital role in realizing these important ambitions.
Mete has also talked about the strong relations between the two countries. "We share many values," he said. We are two democratic nations, we both believe in a rules-based international order. We definitely need to build a stronger bridge between us. He further added.
