PM Modi wished on the occasion of Army Day, said- "Every Indian is proud of our army"
Army Day is celebrated every year on 15 January. On this day Field Marshal KM Cariappa took over as the first Indian Commander-in-Chief of the Indian Army in 1949 after the end of the British Raj.

President Draupadi Murmu extended best wishes on Army Day on Sunday. "Soldiers have always displayed valor in times of calamities. I take this opportunity to salute all the brave soldiers of the Indian Army and their families," she said. PM Modi also wished the army and said that every Indian is proud of our army.
