PM Modi will inaugurate 'Mahakal Lok' today, will be broadcast live in 40 countries

PM Narendra Modi will inaugurate the first phase of Mahakaleshwar Temple Corridor Development Project, prepared at a cost of Rs 856 crore, in Ujjain today i.e. Tuesday, 11 October 2022. The Prime Minister will officially unveil the 'Shivling' to mark the inauguration of the Mahakal Lok. After the opening of this corridor, tourism in this holy city of Madhya Pradesh is expected to get a big boost.

The Government of Madhya Pradesh has constructed Mahakal Lok near the Mahakal temple. With the construction of Mahakal Lok, the total area of ​​the temple has increased from 2.82 hectares to more than 20 hectares at present. A unique blend of art and spirituality is seen in Mahakal Lok. The idols of Lord Shiva as well as his entire family have been installed here.

The echo of the inauguration of Shri Mahakal Lok will be heard abroad as well. BJP's Foreign Relations Department has made arrangements to show the launch program to NRIs of 40 countries including USA, Germany, Australia, New Zealand, UK, UAE, Canada, Holland, Kuwait. Madhya Pradesh BJP has sent the live link of the program to these NRIs. Not only this, on the occasion of inauguration in foreign temples, Manega festival, lamps will be lit in temples. The program will also be shown on the big screen. A virtual meeting was held regarding this preparation, in which NRIs of these countries, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, BJP state president Vishnudutt Sharma, co-convener of Foreign Relations Department Sudhanshu Gupta were involved.
