Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hold a meeting with the Chief Ministers through video conference on Wednesday on the emerging situation of Covid-19 in the country. Official sources gave this information on Saturday. He said that Union Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan will make a presentation on this matter.

According to the data updated by the Union Health Ministry on Saturday, with 2,527 new cases of corona virus infection, the total number of epidemic cases in India increased to 4,30,54,952 and the cases under treatment increased to 15,079. According to the data, with the death of 33 more people, the death toll from the epidemic in the country has gone up to 5,22,149.

Delhi reported 1,042 fresh Covid-19 cases on Friday with a positivity rate of 4.64 per cent. According to the city's health department, two people died due to the infection on Thursday. The caseload in the national capital is 18,72,699, while the death toll is 26,164.

The number of active cases has increased from 601 on April 11 to 3,253. However, the rate of hospitalization has been low so far.
