PM Modi sent a sheet to be offered in the Urs of Ajmer Sharif Dargah

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday handed over a chadar to Minority Affairs Minister Smriti Irani and others to be offered at the Ajmer Sharif Dargah for the Urs of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti. Urs is organized on the death anniversary of Chishti, one of the Sufi saints. He is also known as 'Garib Nawaz'. A huge crowd gathers here during Urs.

PM Modi tweeted and said, 'Handed over a chadar to present on the Urs of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti at Ajmer Sharif Dargah.' Every year PM Modi has been offering chadar as a traditional offering for this event. National Vice President of BJP Minority Morcha Hussain Khan has informed that Morcha President Jamal Siddiqui will go to Ajmer on Wednesday to offer the chadar given by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Morcha Hussain also told that PM Modi has given this sheet by wishing for the prosperity of the country.
