PM Modi remembers Narasimha Rao, Vice President also pays tribute

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday paid tributes to former Prime Minister PV Narasimha Rao on his birth anniversary. Remembering the former prime minister, Modi said India is grateful to him for his rich contribution to national progress.

Narasimha Rao was born on this day in the year 1921 in Karimnagar, Telangana, and Tuesday is his 101st birth anniversary.

The Congress party handle definitely remembered him and credited him for ending the license raj in India. Congress tweeted, 'We bow to former Prime Minister of India PV Narasimha Rao on his birth anniversary. He is credited with ending the license raj in India and leading the country towards an era of economic reforms. His contribution to the nation will always be remembered.
