Prime Minister Narendra Modi will come visit to Punjab and Haryana today. While inaugurating the country's largest Amrita Multi Specialty Hospital in Faridabad, Haryana, Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital in Mohali, Punjab will also be handed over to the country. The Punjab Police has made tight security arrangements for the visit in Mohali's Mullanpur.
Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital and Research Center will have 300 bed facility and is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities like MRI, CT, Mammography, Digital Radiography and Brachytherapy. The center will have all the treatment modalities available for the treatment of every type of cancer which includes chemotherapy, immunotherapy and bone marrow transplant. The hospital has been built by the Tata Memorial Center at a cost of over Rs 660 crore. Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate Asia's largest private multi-specialty Amrita Hospital in Faridabad. It has been established by spiritual guru Mata Amritanandamayi Devi. This hospital is spread over 130 acres of campus. So far Rs 4,000 crore has been spent in its construction. There are total 2600 beds in this hospital. Equipped with various facilities, this hospital will also have a guest house of 498 rooms for the families of the patients. A four star hotel, medical college, nursing college, rehabilitation center, helipad facility will also be available in this hospital complex spread over 10 million square feet.
