PM Modi Mentions Ram Temple on Dhanteras: ‘After 500 Years, Lord Ram Is…’

Today PM Narendra Modi said Diwali is special because for the first time in 500 years Ram Lalla will be celebrating Diwali in Ayodhya temple.

PM Modi Mentions Ram Temple on Dhanteras: Today PM Narendra Modi said Diwali is special because for the first time in 500 years Ram Lalla will be celebrating Diwali in Ayodhya temple.

PM Modi was addressing the youth at Rozgar Mela where he virtually distributed over 51,000 appointment letters.

"I extend my heartfelt greetings to all the citizens on Dhanteras. In just two days, we will also celebrate Diwali, and this year's Diwali is particularly special. After 500 years, Lord Ram is seated in his grand temple in Ayodhya, and this will be the first Diwali celebrated with him in his magnificent temple. We are all very fortunate to witness such a special and grand Diwali," PM Modi said through a video conference.

2024 is the first Diwali for Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple in Ayodhya after it was inaugurated in January 2024. The temple was built after Supreme Court gave nod for it after Gyanvapi case went on for years. Supreme Court had also asked government to give a big piece of land in Ayodhya for a mosque.

Yogi-Adityanath led UP government is all set for the special Diwali of Ram temple. In what will be an eco friendly and big Diwali, state government said it will light 28 lakh diyas along Saryu River.

PM Modi was the chief guest at the grand consecration ceremony where thousands of bigwigs including business men, Bollywood stars and cricketers were present.

UP govt all set for special Diwali of Ram temple. 28 lakh lamps to be lit along Saryu River. Lamps will be lit for long duration and won’t harm the temple structure. With Ayodhya Diwali, UP govt is trying to create a world record.

Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple was inaugurated in January. This is the first Diwali of the temple. PM Modi was present at the grand mahapooja along with thousands of bigwigs including business tycoons, Bollywood stars and cricketers.

These diyas will be lit for long time and will not harm the Ayodhya temple structure. UP government is trying to break a world record with Ayodhya Diwali.

Shri Ram Temple was inaugurated in January this year. This is the first Diwali of the temple.

"In this festive atmosphere, today on this auspicious day, appointment letters for government jobs are being given to 51,000 youth in the employment fair. I extend my heartiest congratulations and best wishes to all of you. The process of providing permanent government jobs to lakhs of youth of the country in the Government of India is continuing. Appointment letters have been given to lakhs of youth even in BJP and NDA-ruled states," the Prime Minister said.
