PM Modi may inaugurate 108 feet tall statue of Kempegowda in Bengaluru next month
The statue, weighing 220 tonnes, is being installed at the Kempegowda International Airport here at a cost of Rs 85 crore. Apart from this, there will also be a heritage park spread over an area of 23 acres.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to inaugurate a 108-feet high bronze statue of Bengaluru's founder Nadaprabhu Kempegowda here next month. Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai on Thursday directed the officials to make all necessary arrangements for the programme. The Prime Minister will also inaugurate the Kempegowda Theme Park which has been developed near the International Airport here. According to official sources, the inaugural program is likely to be held on November 10 in which lakhs of people are expected to reach.
Bommai today presided over the meeting of Nadaprabhu Kempegowda Heritage Area Development Authority and inquired about the inauguration plan.
