PM Modi launched the E-Court Project, now the judicial system will become easy for the general public
The Supreme Court is trying to develop its platform. It will be accessed by bona fide persons like petitioners, lawyers. In the Supreme Court, a bench of Chief Justice DY Chandrachud (CJI DY Chandrachud) and Justice Hima Kohli was hearing the petition of Senior Advocate Indira Jaisingh on various aspects of live streaming.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi participated in the Constitution Day celebrations at the Supreme Court on Saturday and inaugurated various new initiatives and websites under the e-court project. These include Virtual Justice Clock, Justice Mobile App 2.0, Digital Court and S3WaaS websites. Through this, the judicial system will be simplified for the general public of the country.
Inaugurating new projects on the occasion of Constitution Day today, the Prime Minister said, 'It was on this day in 1949 when independent India laid the foundation of a new future for itself, this time the Constitution Day is also special because India has completed 75 years of its independence.
The e-Courts project is an effort to provide services to litigants, lawyers and the judiciary through information and communication technology enabled courts. The project has been launched with the objective of providing citizen centric services in a prompt and time bound manner. It helps to enhance judicial process and productivity, both qualitatively and quantitatively, and make the justice system affordable, accessible, affordable and transparent to citizens.
