PM Modi gave a gift of 4350 crores to Tripura, congratulated for making cleanliness a mass movement
With a focus on improving road connectivity, the Prime Minister inaugurated the project for widening of the Agartala Bypass (Khairpur-Amtali) NH-08, which will help ease traffic congestion in Agartala city.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of various development projects worth over Rs 4,350 crore in Agartala. Prime Minister Modi, who reached Agartala on Sunday, also launched the Griha Pravesh program for the beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Urban and Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Gramin. According to the Prime Minister's Office, these houses were developed at a cost of over Rs 3,400 crore and will cover over 2 lakh beneficiaries.

PM Modi laid the foundation stone for the improvement of 32 roads with a length of more than 230 km and 112 roads with a distance of more than 540 km under PMGSY III (Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana). The Prime Minister also inaugurated the State Institute of Hotel Management at Anandnagar and the Agartala Government Dental College. PM Modi said, I congratulate the people of Tripura for making cleanliness a mass movement. With this, Tripura has emerged as the cleanest state in the category of smallest states. I congratulate Tripura for getting a new Dental College today.
