PM Kisan Yojana: 12th installment of Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana released, these farmers won't get benefit
Earlier today, on October 17, 2022, Prime Minister Narendra Modi distributed the 12th payment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM Kisan) financial incentive to qualified farmer households ahead of Diwali.
PM Kisan Samman Nidhi 12th Installment Released: The 12th installment money has been transferred to the accounts of crores of farmers across the country. On Monday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi released the 12th installment during PM Kisan Samman Sammelan in New Delhi where the government transferred 16 thousand crore rupees into the account of farmers through direct benefit transfer.
The 12th installment amount of Rs 16,000 crore under Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi was made through Direct Benefit Transfer. Under the scheme, eligible farmer families are provided benefits of Rs 6000 per year in 3 equal installments of Rs 2000 each.
The Government of India had set the deadline for e-KYC as August 31, 2022. However, OTP-based e-KYC is still available on the portal. The farmers who had not got their e-KYC done. They may be deprived of the benefit of the 12th installment.
Apart from that, those farmers who are wrongly taking advantage of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana will also not get the benefit of the 12th installment.
Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana is an ambitious scheme run by the Government of India for farmers. Through this scheme, the government is providing financial security to the farmers. Under PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, two thousand rupees are transferred every year to the account of farmers in the form of three installments.
