PM KISAN Instalments: Are Aadhar details important for getting installment benefits?

PM Narendra Modi inaugurated the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme intending to supplement the earnings of different categories of farmers. This scheme was connected with the Digital India initiative has made it possible to reach the PM KISAN benefits to 12 crore farmers in the country. 
The government inaugurated the Central Sector Scheme, PM KISAN, to give them financial assistance of up to Rs. 6,000 annually to small and marginalized farmers all over the country. The benefit of Rs. 6,000 per year is to be set free the eligible farmers in three installments, Rs. 2,000 in every 4 months. This scheme is applied through an Aadhaar linked electronic database which has the details of all the members of the families of the farmers whose names appear in the land records.
