Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal on Thursday said that the PM Gatishakti National Master Plan has the potential to save over Rs 10 lakh crore annually by improving logistics efficiency. The Prime Minister was addressing a national workshop on Gatishakti, which was organized here on the occasion of the first anniversary of the roll out of the National Master Plan.
It focused on the progress and achievements made so far by PM Gatishakti and the way forward. Goyal said that it is increasingly being used in the social sector for the development of better infrastructure, thereby benefitting technology to every citizen of the country and improving the ease of life for the common man.
