PM congratulates 40 lakh kids vaccinated on the first day
The Prime Minister tweeted, “Today we have taken an important step forward in protecting our youth against COVID-19. Congrats to all my young friends between the age group of 15-18.”

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has congratulated young Indians between 15-18 years of age who got vaccinated on the first day on the vaccination driver for young children. The age category started getting vaccines on January 3. The Prime Minister congratulated their parents also.
The Prime Minister tweeted, “Today we have taken an important step forward in protecting our youth against COVID-19. Congrats to all my young friends between the age group of 15-18 who got vaccinated. Congrats to their parents as well. I would urge more youngsters to get vaccinated in the coming days!"
He also retweeted the Union Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr Mansukh Mandaviya's tweets in this regard.
Dr Mansukh Mandaviya, in a series of tweets, spread various information about the Covid-19 vaccination. He tweeted, “Securing our Young India, Some glimpses of the #COVID19 Vaccination drive for children in the 15-18 age group. I urge my young friends to get vaccinated at the earliest & further strengthen the world's largest vaccination drive.”
In another tweet, posting pictures from Doimukh, Papum Pare District, Arunachal Pradesh, he tweeted, “Great to see that our young friends all over the country are uploading their pictures of getting vaccinated, inspiring people all over India.”
He also tweeted in the evening congratulating youngsters on the successful vaccination drive. He said, “Well done Young India! Over 40 Lakhs between 15-18 age group received their first dose of #COVID19 vaccine on the 1st day of vaccination drive for children, till 8 PM. This is another feather in the cap of India’s vaccination drive”
