Petrol and diesel prices have increased even today
Petrol and diesel prices in the country were increased by 80 paise on Saturday. Their price per liter has been increased by Rs 7.2 during the last 12 days so far. According to the price notification of fuel retailers of Delhi, the price of petrol in the capital is now Rs 102.61 per liter, while that of diesel has gone up to Rs 93.87.

Fuel rates have been increased across the country. But this rate varies from state to state in line with local tax provisions. Rates were revised on March 22 after a long gap of four and a half months, but this is the 10th increase in prices since then. Overall, the price of petrol has been increased by Rs 7.20 per liter during this period.
Samajwadi Party (SP) president Akhilesh Yadav on Saturday targeted the central government over the continuous increase in the prices of petrol and diesel, saying that by the time the next elections come, the price of petrol per liter will be Rs 275. Akhilesh in a tweet, explaining the account of this, said, "The public is saying that if the price of petrol keeps increasing at the rate of 80 paise per day or about 24 rupees per month, then the next elections (urban body elections) will be held in November-December, Meanwhile, in seven months, the price should increase by about Rs 175 per liter.
