Pathaan Movie : Shah Rukh Khan starrer prone to be Hindi film's most elevated opener ever, to cross Rs 100 cr on Republic Day

With Siddharth Anand's Pathaan, Shah Rukh Khan returns to the screen after four long years. The movie is set in the YRF spy universe and also stars Deepika Padukone, John Abraham, Dimple Kapadia, and Ashutosh Rana. The box office performance of Pathaan on Day 1 is being hailed as Bollywood's comeback, and the movie is likely to make Rs 100 crore in two days.

The film features an extended cameo from Salman Khan, and the audience cannot get enough of the two of them together on screen. Bachna Ae Haseeno, Anjaana Anjaani, Ta Ra Rum Pum, and Salaam Namaste. Siddharth had previously talked about having John Abraham play the bad guy in the movie. We needed a towering villain who is also larger than life for Pathaan to be larger than life. We wanted someone who could control an electric presence on screen while also being ruthless and elegant.
