Palam Village police in South West Delhi nabbed mobile snatchers

On January 25, 2022, Constable Rajender, Law & Order staff of police station Palam Village, received information of one stolen motorcycle along with accused persons, who snatched a mobile phone near Gate No. 2 Metro Station.
“A team comprising L&O/Inspector Yogesh Kumar, Sub Inspectors Surendra Singh, Devender and Matloob Ali; Head Constable Jitender and constables Rajender and Yogesh was formed under the leadership of SHO/Inspector Paras Nath Verma, under the overall supervision of ACP/Delhi Cantt. Dalip Kumar,” Gaurav Sharma, DCP, South-West District, New Delhi, said.
He added, “On January 25, 2022, at about 11 PM, the trap was laid down near Dustbin at Manglapuri and wait was flagged for a signal of constable Rajender and an informer.”
Then two persons coming towards Manglapuri Chowk were caught by the team. One of the persons escaped from the spot. The accused, who was nabbed, was identified as Naim Ali, 27, and one snatched mobile phone and one motorcycle was recovered from his possession. He revealed the details of the co-accused as Subham.
During the investigation, another accused person Shubham was got arrested in this case on the instance of accused Naim and during interrogation a stolen motorcycle, as well as the offending vehicle of snatching case, was also recovered from the possession of accused Subham.
Accused Subham disclosed that he was involved in this crime since 2011 and he was arrested in an MV Theft case earlier.
