Pakistan's Chief of Army Staff Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa arrives in the United States a weeklong visit, to meet with senior officials of the Biden administration
The Chief of Army Staff of the Pakistan Army, General Qamar Javed Bajwa is on an official visit to the United States and called on the United Nation’s Military Advisor to the Secretary-General, General Birame Diop at UN HQ.

Pakistan Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa has reached the US for the first time since 2019. The ongoing political turmoil in the country and its earlier floods have made the situation worse. Pakistan is on the verge of bankruptcy. Relations with America had deteriorated significantly during the era of former Prime Minister Imran Khan.
Bajwa arrived in the United States for an almost weeklong visit, which includes meetings with senior officials of the Biden administration.
Pakistan's ambassador to America, Sardar Masood Khan said- We know at which point the relationship between America and Pakistan is at present. General Bajwa wants to start a new phase in relations with America.
Surprisingly, the information about General Bajwa's visit to America was not given by the Pakistan Army or the Foreign Ministry. Usually, these two departments give briefings to the media about state visits. This time it didn't happen.
It is being said that Bajwa had reached New York from London on Friday itself. On Sunday, when Pakistan's Ambassador to the US, Sardar Masood Khan was questioned about this, he confirmed it. Said- Yes, General Bajwa has come to America.
