Pakistan Violates Ceasefire: Drone Attacks in Jammu and Srinagar, Air Raid Alert in Barmer
The violation of ceasefire agreement by Pakistan occurred a few hours after it agreed to stop all fires and military actions against India.

Pakistan Violates Ceasefire: Udhampur, Jammu was the target of further drone attacks, while explosions caused alarms and blackout in Srinagar on Thursday night just hours after the ceasefire was agreed between India and Pakistan.
Additionally, an incoming air raid alarm was sounding in Barmer, Rajasthan, presumably coordinated with rapid blackout in the district. In Jammu and Kashmir, gunfire was heard around Baramulla and Budgam side.

“Ceasefire violations along the LoC [Line of Control] and drones over Srinagar in Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab and Rajasthan,” a senior government official told Hindustan Times. The Border Security Force (BSF) acknowledged the ceasefire violations in Akhnoor, RS Pura, while it was possible, the force was dealing appropriately, “believes this marks new beginning in resolution of issues that plagued region, prevented journey to peace, prosperity, stability”.

A blackout was also declared; in Jammu's Katra and Mata Vaishno Devi Bhawan and more. “What the hell just happened to the ceasefire? Explosions heard across Srinagar!!!” Omar Abdullah wrote.
Pakistan's ceasefire violation came as Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif stated his country had denied incursions some time ago; the Jammu and Kashmir chief minister also expressed to X via affiliated reports about the explosions.
This phase of attacks from Pakistan began hours after New Delhi and Islamabad agreed on a ceasefire after three of days of intense exchange fire that began when India unleashed drones on Pakistan that coincided with the Indian armed forces' "Operation Sindoor" targeting terrorist infrastructure one episode of conflict.

President Donald Trump announced the "full and immediate" ceasefire between India and Pakistan on Saturday, claiming it was negotiated as the result of the US talks.
US Secretary of State Marco Rubio called it a US-negotiated deal while praising the wisdom, prudence, and statesmanship of Prime Ministers Narendra Modi and Shehbaz Sharif "in choosing this path of peace."
The ceasefire happened came a few hours after the militaries of India and Pakistan attacked each other's military targets, which further escalated their ongoing conflict.
"After a long night of talks mediated by the United States, I am pleased to announce that India and Pakistan have agreed to a FULL AND IMMEDIATE CEASEFIRE," the US president announced in a post on Truth Social.
"Congratulations to both Countries on using Common Sense and Great Intelligence. Thank you for your attention to this matter!" Trump added.
Later, foreign secretary Vikram Misri announced that the ceasefire began in earnest for both countries at 5 pm Saturday.
