Omar Abdullah Reacts to Explosions in Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah's, confirmation of explosions heard across Srinagar came only hours after India and Pakistan agreed to 'immediate ceasefire'. Blackouts were imposed in Srinagar after major explosions occurred in the capital of Jammu and Kashmir.
“What the hell just happened to the ceasefire? Explosions heard across Srinagar!!!” J&K CM Omar Abdullah posted on X, (formerly Twitter), adding, “This is no ceasefire. The air defence units in the middle of Srinagar just opened up”.

Mint was told by locals that homes had already been damaged in Sonawar, about a kilometre from the blasts. Blasts continued as the BB Cantonnent is near Sonawar.
“You can trust a snake before you trust Pakistan. Ceasefire violation in some areas of J&K including RS Pura and Samba and reportedly drone activity in Kashmir valley, Udhampur and Sundarbani”, posted Former DGP J&K SP Vaid.
For the record, on Saturday, May 10, Pakistan and India agreed to a full and immediate cease-fire after days of deadly jet fighter, missile, drone and artillery attacks, the news came surprisingly from US President, Donald Trump, who congratulated them for using "common sense".
