Pakistan engaged in propaganda over the murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Musewala
Musewala was shot dead on 29 May in Mansa, Punjab. The news of Moosewala's murder came on May 29 at around 6.15 pm. The first tweet on Twitter regarding this incident was from a Pakistani account.

Pakistan is not deterring its anti-India propaganda. He often keeps doing such acts against India. He has now launched a propaganda campaign on internet media to malign India's image regarding the murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Musewala. Unfounded claims were made regarding this murder. A total of 26 Twitter accounts were active in this campaign and all of them are said to be Pakistani. Most of this has been found to be related to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, the party of former Prime Minister Imran Khan.
An attempt has been made to tarnish the image of India's intelligence agency Research and Analysis Wing (RA) through such hashtags. False and misinformation were spread on these hashtags to hold RAW responsible for the murder.
There remains a particular activity regarding his death from Twitter accounts based in Pakistan. According to the data, Pakistan-based accounts are cashing in on the death of singer Moosewala to trigger further tensions within India.
