Pakistan- 6 children among 20 killed after 5.7 magnitude earthquake strike southern Pakistan, rescue ops underway
The worst affected area was the remote mountains city in Balochistan where a lack of paved roads, electricity, and mobile phone coverage has hindered the rescue effort.

Around 20 people died over 200 others were injured badly after a massive earthquake hit southern Pakistan in the wee hours on Thursday. The European Mediterranean Seismological Centre measured the earthquake at a magnitude of 5.7, upgraded from an earlier magnitude of 5.4. the earthquake was at a depth of 10 km with its epicenter situated 102 km east-northeast of Quetta, Pakistan.
Provincial interior minister Mir Zia Ullah Langau said We are getting information that 20 people have been killed because of the earthquake. Another senior provincial government said that a woman and six children are among the 20 people that have died in the massive earthquake.
