Operation Sindoor: Indian Strikes Kill 10 Family Members, 4 Aides of JeM Chief Masood Azhar
Killed in the Indian missile launch were a direct relative and her spouse to JeM chief Maulana Masood Azhar and a nephew and spouse.

Operation Sindoor: Masood Azhar, founder of the terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM), says ten family members and four close associates of his were killed in the Indian air force offensive 'Operation Sindoor', according to BBC Urdu.
The offensive involved 'targeted' attacks and air strikes on nine terror links across Pakistan and Pakistan Occupied Kashmir including a major compound in Bahawalpur.

Under a captioned report, the channel quoted Azhar stating the strike by India on Markaz Subhan Allah, also the headquarters for the Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) terror group was "10 family members and four close associates of mine" In the statement made by Azhar, he targeted Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Among those killed in the Indian missiles rain, were the elder sister and her husband of JeM chief Maulana Masood Azhar, along with Azhar's nephew and his wife.
The terror headquarters of the a banned Jaish-i-Mohammed, Lashkar-e-Taiba, and Hizbul Mujahideen were attacked by airstrikes. The Indian Air Force undertook night raids on nine hideouts in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir, as per officials on Wednesday.
The specific targets that were struck included the Markaz Subhan Allah at Bahawalpur, Sarjal at Tehra Kalan, Markaz Abbas at Kotli, and the Syedna Bilal camp at Muzaffarabad, all part of the banned Jaish-e-Mohammed.

The other targets that were struck were the Markaz Taiba at Murdike, Markaz Ahle Hadith at Barnala, and Shwawai Nalla camp, Muzaffarabad, all of which are involved with the banned Lashkar-e-Taiba.
Moreover, the Makaz Raheel Shahid at Kotli, and Mehmoona Joya at Sialkot, which belong to Hizbul Mujahideen, were also struck.
Out of the nine targets struck, four were in Pakistan, and five were in Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir.
‘Osama Sindoor’ is at best a symbolic reference to the red vermilion that Hindus paint on the forehead of married women.
On April 22, a heartbreaking image depicting a lawfully wedded Hindu wife seated in shock alongside her husband’s corpse went viral on social media, setting itself as a graphic context of the horrendous attack carried out in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pahalgam and followed up by the missile assault that entitled the life of 26 people.
