On the anniversary of the movement against agricultural laws, farmer unions will march to Raj Bhavans across the country.

On Saturday, on the occasion of completion of two years of the movement against agricultural laws, the farmer unions will take out marches to the Raj Bhavans across the country. Farmer leaders said on Friday that the government has not fulfilled many demands. That's why farmers will register their protest through this march. Farmer leaders claimed that the government had given them in writing that it would discuss and bring a law for the minimum support price (MSP) of crops, but nothing has been done so far.

Thousands of farmers from Punjab, Haryana and western Uttar Pradesh had protested on the borders of the national capital for more than a year demanding the repeal of the three agricultural laws.Prime Minister Narendra Modi had announced the repeal of all three laws in November last year. After this the movement was called off.

United Kisan Morcha (SKM) leader Hannan Mollah said, “They gave us written assurances and many demands were agreed upon but nothing was done. The government has proved that it is a traitor and has cheated the farmers of the country. They are protecting the corporates. They have proved that they have no intention of meeting our demands."
