Omicron: University-college closed in Haryana till January 12
In view of the increasing cases of Omicron, the Haryana Government has banned physical classes in the universities of the state under "Pandemic Alert-Safe Haryana". Apart from this, the students living in the hostels have been instructed to follow the guidelines.

Earlier, the Haryana government had ordered closure of schools, colleges and cinema halls in five districts.
The Haryana government had issued new guidelines for the districts of Gurugram, Faridabad, Sonipat, Ambala and Panchkula.
All cinema halls will remain closed in these districts
Markets and malls will open till 5:00 pm
Swimming pool closed for all people except players
Bars and restaurants will only seat up to 50% of the capacity
For the family and social programs to be held in all the districts of the state, the government has fixed the number of participants. Now till further orders, not more than 50 people will be able to attend the funeral and 100 people in the wedding ceremony.
