Old pension scheme will be implemented if AAP comes to power in Gujarat: CM Kejriwal
Kejriwal said that state government employees play a big role in choosing or removing a government. He called upon the people to work to promote AAP and remove the ruling BJP government in Gujarat for the last 27 years.

Aam Aadmi Party's (AAP) national convener Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday promised that if his party comes to power in the Gujarat assembly elections to be held this year, it will be like Punjab. Old Pension Scheme will also be implemented for government employees. Kejriwal said that Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has issued an order to consider the implementation of Old Pension Scheme (OPS) in the AAP-ruled state of Punjab.
Arvind Kejriwal told reporters, 'A large number of government employees are on the streets in Gujarat. Their main demand is to implement the old pension scheme. I give them a guarantee that when Aam Aadmi Party forms the government, we will implement OPS in Gujarat. Kejriwal is in Vadodara to address a meeting as part of a campaign to reach out to various sections of the society ahead of the assembly elections.
Delhi Chief Minister Kejriwal said, 'Like Punjab, we will implement OPS in Gujarat too'. Kejriwal asked the protesting employees of the state government to continue their agitation. He said that if the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government implements OPS, then it is fine and if not, then after two months, his party will implement it, when the current government is changed.
