Oceansat-3 Launch Updates: ISRO will launch Oceansat-3 in space today

ISRO is about to create another history in the field of space today. PSLV - C 54 EOS-6 mission with Oceansat-3 and 8 nano satellites is scheduled to be launched today at 11.56 am. ISRO is also going to launch a satellite of Bhutan under this mission. This entire mission of ISRO will last for about 2 hours 20 minutes. During this, primary satellites and nano satellites will be launched in two different solar synchronous polar orbits.

The Oceansat series of satellites are earth observation satellites and will be used for oceanographic and atmospheric studies. This satellite is capable of forecasting marine weather. This will help us deal with the cyclone. Information will be available from these satellites before the arrival of any cyclone. This will help in planning to deal with the cyclone.

Apart from EOS-06 (OceanSat-3), 8 nanosatellites will be launched from Pixel, Anand from ISRO Bhutansat, two Thybolts from Dhruv space and four Astrocast from Spaceflight USA. This entire mission is going to last for about 8,200 seconds (2 hours 20 minutes). Which will be a long mission of PSLV. During this, primary satellites and nano satellites will be launched in two different Solar Synchronous Polar Orbits (SSPO).
