In a major development, the North East Team of Bhajanpura Police recovered a button-actuated knife and a stolen motorcycle. The team further arrested a dreaded criminal previously involved in multiple cases of Robbery and Snatching. The accused have been identified as Vivek (25).
According to Sanjay Kumar Sain, Dy Commissioner of Police, North-East District, New Delhi, “On the 13th of June while patrolling, a police team comprising ASI Yasin Khan and Const. Arun Kuma reached the Delhi Jal Board office. At about 09.30 PM police team noticed one person coming from a 66-foot road on a Splendor motorcycle and on sensing the police presence, he made a U-turn. Seeing this suspicious activity, the police team caught the person by making instant efforts.
Further on asking for the documents regarding the ownership of the motorcycle, he couldn’t provide any. Later, the Motorcycle was found to be stolen. Accordingly, a case was registered and the investigation was taken up. During the course of the investigation, he confessed to his crime and revealed his involvement in multiple cases of robbery and snatching. On sustained interrogation his previous involvements also surfaced. Further investigation, in this case, is under progress.
