No vaccination jabs available at govt centres in Noida on Tuesday
Due to unforeseen circumstances, the vaccination for Covishield for all persons who were online given slots on June 29th has now been postponed. They will now receive their vaccination on July 5th i.e. Monday.

According to authorities, the Uttar Pradesh government has lowered the number of vaccinations it distributes to Gautam Budh Nagar and other districts in preparation for the massive immunisation push that will begin on July 1st. This will greatly reduce the number of vaccinations given on a daily basis until at least June 30th.
On Tuesday, the Gautam Budh Nagar health department announced that no vaccines will be given at government centres. Chief Medical Officer Deepak Ohri informed in a statement that the decision was made due to "unavoidable" conditions.
“Due to the acute paucity of vaccines, we have suspended the vaccination drive on Tuesday. We have intimated this issue to the higher officials of the government. Once we get the vials from Lucknow, we’ll be able to restart the ongoing vaccination drive in the district,” said Ohri.

He explained that they could not inform people about the lack of vaccines since the Co-WIN platform was under their control, due to which both people and hospital staffers suffered.
A senior doctor informed, "However, the vaccination drive with Covaxin would continue as per schedule on June 29. While the vaccination drive on June 30 would also continue as per schedule."
Only government-run vaccination centres are exempt from the deferral order; private institutions are not.
Ohri explained, “Since we are going to take up a mega vaccination drive from July 1 when the district will aim to vaccinate 25,000 people a day, the number of vials that will be given to us will be fewer. We’ve been told that the district will be given at least 125,000 vaccine doses on June 30, to kick off the mega vaccination drive.”
As per information accessible on the Cowin webpage, approximately 11.70 lakh Covid-19 vaccines have been administered in Gautam Buddh Nagar, the second most for any district in the state after Lucknow.
