In fact, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will preside over the meeting of the Governing Council of NITI Aayog on August 7 i.e. tomorrow. During this, various issues including crop diversification and implementation of National Education Policy will be discussed.
After this NITI Aayog responded to KCR's statement. On behalf of the commission, it was said that a number of measures are already being taken to work with the states. Last year there were more than 30 meetings with the CM. The delegation also met the Telangana CM in Hyderabad last year. The CM did not respond despite requests for a recent meeting. According to NITI Aayog, in the last 4 years the Government of India allocated Rs.3982 crores for Telangana State under Jal Jeevan Mission, but the state decided to withdraw only Rs.200 crores. Apart from this, Rs 1195 crore was released to Telangana under PMKSY-AIBP-CADWM during 2014-2015 to 2021-2022.
